I am so honored to be serving Ohio House District 4 as your State Representative!
I’m running to keep this seat because all Ohioans deserve to have their individual rights and wishes respected and honored, and you deserve elected leaders who are accountable and transparent. No games. No gimmicks. Good government.
For too long, our elected state representatives have ignored the will of the people while choosing to impose their own will upon the people.
I believe strongly that a woman has the right to make her own decisions about her body, her health, her family, and Ohioans have spoken out in a resounding way by amending our Ohio Constitution to protect that fundamental freedom. I support that right, and just as importantly I respect the people of this great state.
My pledge to you is to work to make our state a place where young people choose to stay.
My husband and I are both lifelong Ohioans who decided to plant ourselves here and raise our family in this great community. House District 4 has been our home for nearly 25 years.
We believe this is a special place and, like you, I want my children to be able to choose to continue to live here because there are lots of opportunities to work, thrive and succeed.
I was raised in a family committed to public service and I was fortunate to be elected three times to serve on the Gahanna-Jefferson school board. It was an honor to be selected by my colleagues to lead as board president for eight years.
I understand what a strong public school system means to a community and I am committed to ensuring every student in Ohio has the ability to pursue their dreams by recieving a high quality education regardless of where they live.
As a school board member, I led the work on a master facility building plan to bring a brand new high school to Gahanna, and I learned so much from this experience.
Growth is good, but smart growth is even better. Our area is on the brink of unprecedented economic and job growth, and I will work to ensure we are making smart decisions and wise investments to help us navigate the challenges that come along with these opportunities.
As a lawyer with over 20 years of experience leading in state government, I have a deep understanding of how it works and how it can work best for all of us.
Lies and corruption have no place at our Statehouse. You deserve elected leaders with strong ethical standards.
For this reason, I am supporting an effort to end gerrymandering in Ohio. We need to take the drawing pencil out of the hands of politicians and give citizens the power to draw fair districts for fair elections. Our legislature should look, act and think like the Ohio they represent, and our leaders should be held accountable to voters.
As your representative, you have trusted me to listen and take action to address your concerns and issues and my record is strong. I will always fight for fairness and the opportunity for all to achieve our shared American Dream.
I have an unwavering dedication to conducting myself with integrity and remaining committed to doing the right thing, not the easy thing. We expect our children to be respectful, responsible, and honest, and that is the least we should expect from our elected leaders.
I am asking for your vote on November 5 so I can continue serving you and all the residents of Ohio House District 4.
